Typical of seasoned companies in this industry, Boise Cascade believes in company loyalty and the gradual evolution of its managing executive corps.  Thus it came of great note earlier this year, when the company announced a rare executive succession.

First, CEO Tom Carlisle announced his pending retirement after 42 years with the company.  Then the company announced that Tom Corrick was officially designated to replace Carlisle as CEO.  Finally Mr. Carlisle was chosen to take Duane McDougall’s place as Chairman of the Board.  Mr. Corrick has been with the company for 31 years.

Earlier this year, Boise Cascade also announced that annual sales for 2014 had come in at $3.57 billion, a 9.2% increase from the previous year.
