• Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. announced it has named Patrick McLean as the company’s first Chief Marketing Officer. He succeeds Dave Frankenfield, who has retired.
• Sunoco LP reported it will acquire Parkland Corporation. The deal is expected to close during the second half of this year.
• Weis Markets Inc. said it plans to open three new stores this year and one in early 2026 in DE and MD.

• Alo Yoga reported it will open a new store location in downtown Detroit, MI, this summer.
• Bob’s Discount Furniture reported it plans to open 20 new stores this year in CA, CT, IA, MA, MI, NC, NJ, NV, NY, PA, VA and VT.
• Boot Barn Holdings, Inc. has appointed John Hazen as its permanent CEO.
• eBay Inc. has announced its CFO, Steve Priest, will be leaving the company. Peggy Alford has been hired as the company’s new CFO. Jordan Sweetnam has been promoted to Chief Commercial Officer. Mazen Rawashdeh has been named as Chief Technology Officer. Eddie Garcia, Chief Product Officer, will be leaving the company.
• National Association of Chain Drug Stores announced Rick Gates has assumed the role of Chairman.
• Nike Inc. has announced Heidi O’Neill will retire from the company. Amy Montagne has been promoted to President. Phil McCartney has been promoted to Exec VP, Chief Innovation, Design & Product Officer. Nicole Graham has been promoted to Exec VP, Chief Marketing Officer. Tom Clarke has assumed the new role of Chief Growth Initiatives Officer.
• Rite Aid Corporation has reportedly filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
• Skechers USA Inc. announced it has agreed to be acquired by private equity firm 3G Capital and will no longer be a public company.
• Sleep Number Corporation has promoted Melissa Barra to the newly created position of Exec VP and Chief Product and Strategy Officer. Chris Krusmark has been promoted to Exec VP and Chief Retail and People Officer. Tanya Skogerboe has been appointed as Senior VP and Chief Supply Chain and Transformation Officer.
• Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming has plans to open its first store in the state of Wisconsin.

• Chicken Salad Chick recently opened its 300th restaurant location. The company plans to open 47 new restaurants this year.
• Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc. has named Jason Kidd as COO, effective May 19. The company also announced Jack Hartung, President and Chief Strategy Officer, plans to step down from his current role on June 1.
• Shake Shack Inc. reported it expects to open 45 to 50 company-owned locations, as well as 35 to 40 licensed locations this year.
