• Meijer Inc. recently opened a new 90,000 sq. ft. Meijer Grocery store in Noblesville, IN.
• Pilot Flying J has promoted Andy Lupo to Exec VP, CTO. He assumed the role after the retirement of Mike Rodgers.
• The Raley’s Companies has promoted Mike Gabbert to Senior VP, Chief Human Resources Officer. Donna Mendes has been promoted to succeed him as Executive Director of Logistics.

• Recreational Equipment Inc. has named Guillaume Ledieu as CTO. He replaces Dan Shull, who has left the company.

• California’s Fast Food Council is meeting this week and the members will be deciding how much to raise the minimum wage for fast-food restaurants in California beginning next year.
• Darden Restaurants Inc. has agreed to purchase Chuy’s in a $605 million dollar deal. The deal is expected to close in November.
• Potbelly has opened their first location inside the Pentagon. The opening is part of the company’s plans to open more locations within military installations.
• Starbucks is partnering with Mercedes-Benz to add EV car chargers at over 100 locations.
• Zaxby’s is entering the retail business by selling three of their signature sauces at southern grocery stores and through Amazon.
