• Beyond, Inc. hired Guncha Mehta as Chief Digital and Information Officer. Stacey Shivel has joined the company as Chief Merchandising Officer, Bed Bath & Beyond. Angela Minor has been named Chief Marketing Officer, Bed Bath & Beyond. Deb Bollom has been promoted to Chief Merchandising Officer, Overstock. Steph Whitacre has been appointed Senior VP GM, Zulily. Jennifer Evans has been appointed Senior VP Marketing, Beyond, Inc. Alexis Callahan has been named VP of Investor Relations and Public Relations. Chris Peake joined the company as Director of Merchandising, Zulily.
• Crocs, Inc. announced Susan Healy will join the company as Exec VP and CFO, effective June 3. She succeeds Anne Mehlman, who was appointed President of the Crocs Brand.
• Do it Best Corp. reported Mike Barley was promoted to Manager of Information Technology. Mike Beerens was promoted to Manager of Enterprise. Todd Bussen was promoted to Manager of Information Systems. Eric Knox was promoted to Director of Sales. Jasmine McClanahan was promoted to Project Manager Communications. Micahel McCoy was promoted to Merchandise Manager Outdoor Living. Rene Thompson was promoted to Manager of Network and Information Technology.
• Floor & Decor Holdings, Inc. opened its first-ever store in New York City, NY.
• Gap Inc. announced Fabiola Torres has become Global Chief Marketing Officer for Gap.
• Kohl’s Corporation has partnered with Instacart to offer delivery for customers’ orders from all its stores.
• Peloton Interactive, Inc. announced that Barry McCarthy is stepping down as President and CEO. Karen Boone and Chris Bruzzo will serve as Interim co-CEOs. Jay Hoag has been named the new Chairman. The company announced it will let go of approximately 15% of its employees.
• Rally House & Kansas Sampler recently opened its 200th store location.
• Rue 21 has filed for bankruptcy protection and plans to close all of its 540 stores in the next four to six weeks.
• Sam Ash Music Corp. announced that it is closing all of its 42 store locations nationwide.
• Von Maur Inc. reported it plans to remodel all its department stores. The retailer plans to open new locations in Pittsburgh, PA in fall 2024, and in Fargo, ND, in spring 2025.
• Wolverine Worldwide, Inc. has named Taryn Miller as its new CFO. She succeeds Michael D. Stornant, who is retiring.

• Bloomin’ Brands CEO David Deno has announced his retirement. He will remain in his role with the company until a successor is found.
• Craveworthy Brands has acquired Hot Chicken Takeover.
• El Pollo Loco is currently testing kiosks and plans to place kiosks in all company-owned locations by the end of summer.
• Inspire Brands has named Yasir Anwar as Chief Technology Officer.
• Panera is removing Charged Lemonades from their menu and will be replacing them with new beverages. The Charged Lemonade was the subject of two wrongful death lawsuits.
• Pizza Hut has named Carl Loredo as President of U.S. Business.
• Portillo’s has named Nick Scarpino as CMO and Keith Correia as Chief Information Officer.
• Smalls Sliders has named Donald Crocker as Chief Development Officer and Julie Hauser-Blanner as COO.
• Smoothie King has named Gavin Felder as CFO.
