• 7-Eleven Inc. announced it will acquire 204 convenience stores in NM, OK, and TX from Sunoco LP.
• BP Products North America Inc. reported Murray Auchincloss will take on the role of its new CEO.
• Hannaford Bros. Co. will acquire two locations from Paradis Family Supermarkets in Fort Kent and Madawaska, ME. The stores will be rebranded to Hannaford this spring.
• K-VA-T Food Stores Inc. has named Katie Penny as the company’s Exec VP of Operations for its Knoxville, TN, division. She replaces Ron Tacker, who is retiring from the company.
• Skogen’s Festival Foods announced it named Adam Whitney as Senior VP of Merchandising and Marketing.

• Academy Sports & Outdoors has named Chad Fox to the newly created role of Exec VP and Chief Customer Officer.
• Boise Cascade LLC announced that Tom Hoffman, Senior VP Purchasing, Building Materials Distribution Division, is retiring.
• Carter’s Inc. said Brian Lynch, President & COO, will retire effective March 1, 2024. Richard Westenberger, will be promoted to Senior Exec VP, and COO. Kendra Krugman will be promoted to Senior Exec VP, Chief Creative and Growth Officer.
• CVS Health will be closing several of its pharmacies located inside Target Corporation stores in the next couple months.
• CVS Health has appointed Erin Condon as Chief Marketing Officer.
• Gap Inc. has appointed Eric Chan to the new position of Chief Business and Strategy Officer, and Amy Thompson as Chief People Officer.
• L & W Supply has promoted Mark Woodsum to VP of its newly created North Central Region.
• Lowe’s Companies Inc. has promoted Margi Vagell to Exec VP, Supply Chain. She succeeds Don Frieson.

• Recreational Equipment Inc. reported it plans to open 10 new store locations in 2024, in AZ, CA, NY, OH, OK, and OR.

• Williams-Sonoma, Inc. announced that Pottery Barn CEO Marta Benson will retire, effective April 26.

• Another Broken Egg has signed four new franchise agreements to bring 13 new stores to Florida, Kansas, North Carolina, and Texas in the next four years.
• Applebee’s has launched a date night subscription that covers $30 worth of food for a visit for up to 52 times.
• Burger King is acquiring Carrols Restaurant Group Inc., Burger King’s largest U.S. franchisee, in a $1 billion deal.
• BonChon has named Suzie Tsai as U.S. CEO. Current U.S. CEO Bryan Shin will become International CEO and CFO.
• Jersey Mike’s plans to open 300 new stores in Canda by 2034.
• Jimmy John’s has signed two franchise agreements that will expand the company into Canada and Latin America.
• McAlister’s has signed a franchise agreement to bring 10 new stores to Minnesota.
The U.S. House of Representatives voted to overturn the National Labor Relations Board’s joint employer rule. The rule would hold franchisors and franchisees jointly liable for labor violations. The resolution to overturn the rule will now proceed to the Senate, President Biden said he will veto the resolution if it is approved.
