• ABC Supply Co. Inc. announced the appointment of Jim Anderson as Senior VP and CFO. He will succeed Todd Buehl.
• Amazon.com Inc. announced Jenny Freshwater has been promoted to President of Fashion. She replaces Mudge Erdrik Dogan who has left the company.
• Henson Lumber Limited reported it has acquired Decatur Lumber Co.
• Kodiak Building Partners has promoted Willie Hertford to the position of President of Miller Lumber Company. He succeeds Charley Miller, who is retiring. The company also said Scott Peacock has been promoted to President of Albeni Falls Building Supply.
• Nike Inc. announced it has named Nicole Hubbard Graham as Chief Marketing Officer at the beginning of 2024. She will succeed Dirk-Jan van Hameren, who is retiring. The retailer also recently named John Hoke as its first Chief Innovation Officer. Muge Erdirik Dogan was named Chief Technology Officer.
• Studs recently opened a new store in Chicago, IL. It is the first location in the state for the retailer.
• Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc. announced its Chief Medical Officer, Kevin Ban, is leaving the retailer. He will be replaced by Chief Clinical Officer Sashi Moodley. The company is reportedly laying off about 5% of its corporate workforce.

• Starbucks is facing pressure from the Starbucks Workers United labor union that is pushing the company to suspend digital sales during major promotions. Unionized workers are planning a walk out on Starbucks Red Cup Day promotion.
