• Casey’s General Stores Inc. has elected Darren Rebelez, the company’s President and CEO, to the additional role of Chairman. He succeeds H. Lynn Horak, who is retiring.
• Couche-Tard Inc. reported Claude Tessier, its Exec VP and CFO, plans to retire. He will be succeeded by Filipe Da Silva.
• H-E-B has announced plans to open two Joe V’s Smart Shop by H-E-B stores in Dallas, TX in the next couple years.
• Maverik Inc. reported it is opening its first store location in Montana.
• The Parker Companies has announced that Doug Parker, its Senior Director of Marketing, is leaving the company.
• SpartanNash Company announced it has recently hired Brandon Pasch as VP, Center Store Merchandising. The company also announced Arpen Shah has been named VP, Merchandising Strategy and Analytics.
• Tops Markets LLC announced five locations across Pennsylvania are being remodeled, and one store location is set to close.
• Wegmans Food Markets Inc. announced that it is planning to close its store in Natick, MA, later this summer.

• Belco Forest Products announced that Baxter Reimer has been promoted to Director of Sales.
• BJ’s Wholesale Club Inc. is opening its first location in Tennessee. The new store will open in La Vergne, TN, on June 14.
• Dick’s Sporting Goods Inc. expects to have between 75 to 100 House of Sport stores nationwide by 2027.
• Do it Best Corp. has promoted Kao Sorn to Software Engineer, and Gabe Arnold to Product Sales Manager. The company has also hired Robin Bredemeyer as Merchandise Manager and Karan Reddy, as Senior Software Engineer.
• GameStop Holdings Corp. has elected Ryan Cohen as Executive Chairman. The retailer also announced its CEO, Matt Furlong, is no longer with the company.
• Jeld-Wen Holding Inc. has named Jas S. Hayes as the company’s new Exec VP, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary.
• L & W Supply announced Ryan Donegan has been named Business Development Manager of its Northeast Region.
• Lululemon Athletica Inc. reported it expects to open 50 new store locations this fiscal year.
• Nike Inc. announced Jared Carver is the new CEO of Converse. He succeeds Scott Uzzell, who will become VP/GM North America for Nike. Uzzell will report to Nike CEO and President John Donahoe.
• Primark USA will open new stores this summer in Hanover, MD, Elizabeth, NJ, Albany, NY, and Valley Stream, NY. The 33,000 sq. ft. store at Arundel Mills will be the retailer’s first store in Maryland. The company also announced it has hired Tanesha Carter as Director Talent Acquisitions.

• Rue21 has recently named Karlyn Mattson as Exec VP, Chief Customer Officer.
• Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc. reported Rina Shah has been promoted to the role of Senior VP, Pharmacy and Transformation.

Amazon has extended their partnership with Grubhub for an additional year.
Chipotle’s Chief Diversity Officer Tawanda Starms is leaving the company.
Fat Brands is seeking an IPO for their Twin Peaks restaurant brand.
Flynn Restaurant Group has acquired Pizza Hut Australia. This marks the company’s first ever international acquisition.
Smashburger has appointed Jose Miñana as Interim President.
Starbucks has plans to build and open delivery-only locations in the future. The company has also extended their Oleato beverages to 11 additional states.
Sweetgreen CEO Johnathan Neman predicts that all Sweetgreen locations will become automated in the next five years.
Taco Bell is testing their first plant-based protein with the vegan crunchwrap in three locations.
