• Bashas’ Inc. announced Jayson Mead has been promoted to VP of AJ’s Fine Foods. The company also said it promoted Gabe Flores to Director of Produce at AJ’s Fine Foods, and Jorge Alvarez as Director of Food City.
• McKesson Corp. has signed an agreement to extend its partnership with CVS Health to distribute pharmaceuticals through June 2027.
• National Association of Convenience Stores reported that Don Rhoads was named as the Chairman for 2022-2023. Ken Parent was named Vice Chairman Communications and Treasurer, Lisa Dell’Alba was named Vice Chairman Legislative, Annie Gauthier was named Vice Chairman, Member Services, and Chuck Maggelet was named Vice Chairman, Research and Technology.
• Stater Bros. Holdings Inc. announced President Greg McNiff has taken on the added the title of COO.

• BlueLinx Holdings Corporation has acquired Vandermeer Forest Products, a privately held wholesale distributor of building products.
• Do it Best Corp. promoted Mallory Bates to Merchandise Manager, Building Hardware. Howard O’Neil was promoted to Division Manager of Forest Products. Jon Timmerman was promoted to Product Sales Manager. Emilee Vance was named as an Application Analyst.
• L & W Supply reported it has acquired Dana Wallboard Supply, Inc. based in Tyngsborough, MA.
• Spanx, Inc. announced its Founder, Sara Blakely, has resigned from her position as CEO. Kim Jones was named her successor. Caroline Whitton has been promoted to President and will continue in her role as Chief Growth Officer. Misha Nonoo has been appointed as Chief Brand Officer. Martin Elliott has been appointed as CFO. Coco Lu has been named as Chief People Officer.
• Target Corporation announced Prat Vemana will join the company as Exec VP, Chief Digital and Product Officer as of Oct. 31.
• ThirdLove will open its first store locations soon. Three stores will open in October in Washington, DC, Dallas, TX, and Boston, MA, with a fourth opening in early November in Scottsdale, AZ.
