• Buc-ee’s Ltd. recently opened its first store location in South Carolina.
• Couche-Tard Inc. reported it is putting 109 Circle K, Holiday and Couche-Tard convenience stores in the United States and Canada up for sale.
• Grocery Outlet Inc. is teaming up with Uber Eats to pilot its grocery delivery service.
• Lidl US, LLC has unveiled plans for a third store location in Washington, DC.
• The Parker Companies has hired Douglas Parker as Senior Director of Marketing and Thomas Rutledge as Director of Construction.
• Wegmans Food Markets Inc. will open its first location in Washington, DC, on July 13.
Retail
• The Building Center Inc. has acquired a 130,000 sq. ft. facility in Georgetown, SC, that will serve as a manufacturing facility, and lumber and distribution center.
• Camping World Holdings, Inc. has reached an agreement to acquire Richardson’s RV Centers, which operates eight locations in California and Indiana.
• Glossier Inc. announced Emily Weiss has stepped down from her role as CEO. Kyle Leahy will take over the role.
• Jeld-Wen Holding Inc. has promoted John Krause to Senior VP and General Manager, North America.
• Kohl’s Corporation reported that Doug Howe, Chief Merchandising Officer, has left the retailer. Greg Revelle, Chief Marketing Officer, is expected to leave the company June 1.
• L & W Supply has opened a new branch in Plymouth, MN.
• Macy’s Inc. recently launched a 15,000 sq. ft. Backstage store on the eighth floor of its New York City Macy’s store in Herald Square.
• Nordstrom Inc. said that it plans to close its personal styling concept, Trunk Club.
• Psycho Bunny reported it plans to open 29 new U.S. store locations this year.
• The Talbots Inc. announced it plans to close its Lakeville, MA, distribution center and lay off 277 people.
• Under Armour Inc. said its President and CEO, Patrik Frisk, will be stepping down, effective June 1. In the interim, COO Colin Browne will serve as President and CEO.
• Wayfair LLC recently opened a new store location in Massachusetts for its AllModern brand.

• Arby’s has released the first burger in company history with their Wagyu Steakhouse Burger.
• Captain D’s has been purchased by private-equity firm Centre Partners. Centre Partners originally owned the fast food chain before they sold to Sentinel Capital partners in 2017.
• Crave Hot Dogs & Barbecue has opened a new location in Colorado Springs, CO
• Fat Brands has purchased Nestle Toll House Cafe by Chip for an undisclosed amount. Fat Brands will begin rebranding the cafes as Great American Cookies.
• Huey Magoo’s has opened a new location in Jacksonville, FL.
• Marco’s Pizza has signed a franchise agreement to open 6 new location in Lubbock, TX by the end of 2023.
• Pizza Guys has opened a new location in Temecula, CA.
• Starbucks Corporation will permanently leave Russia after ceasing operations there earlier this year following the invasion of Ukraine.
• Tijuana Flats has opened their first location in Illinois in Oakbrook Terrace.
• Wendy’s largest investor, Trian Fund Management L.P., is currently exploring options to take over the fast food company.
• Zaxby’s has promoted Mike Nettles to Chief Digital and Technology Officer and has hired Mike Mettler as Chief Development Officer.
