Retail

• Abercrombie & Fitch Co. reported that it is launching a same-day delivery service across the U.S.

• Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. has partnered with Uber to offer on-demand delivery.

• Dollar Tree Inc. is expanding an existing partnership with Instacart to offer same-day delivery in as fast as one hour.

• The Occupational Safety and Health Administration announced employers with more than 100 employees will need to implement a COVID-19 vaccination requirement for their employees, and offer a weekly testing alternative to those who are unable to receive a vaccine, by January 4, 2022.

• Saks Incorporated announced it is launching a series of virtual events centered around gift-giving and dressing for holiday celebrations.

• Walmart Stores Inc. and Sam’s Club are preparing to administer COVID-19 vaccine shots to children aged 5 to 11.

Restaurant

• Red Robin is fighting the labor shortage by announcing a hiring day for November 4th at over 400 participating restaurants.

• Ruth’s Hospitality Group Inc. will be raising prices by 1.3% in mid-November due to the rising cost of beef. The company already raised prices earlier this year.

• Wingstop will be increasing their menu prices by 4% to 5% in the coming weeks after the chain had already raised prices by 5% earlier this year. The price hike is due to higher food and labor costs.
