• Albertsons LLC has appointed Sharon McCollam as President and CFO, effective Sept. 7. She succeeds Bob Dimond, who is retiring.
• Amazon.com Inc. reported it is expanding its faster same-day delivery service to six new cities: Baltimore, Chicago, Detroit, Tampa, Charlotte and Houston.
• Foxtrot Ventures Inc. has launched Foxtrot Anywhere, a delivery platform that will allow its goods to be offered nationwide.
• Global Partners LP has acquired 13 Mac’s Market convenience stores from Sherman V. Allen Inc. The stores are located in Vermont, New Hampshire, New York and Massachusetts and sell CITGO-branded fuels.
• Presidente Supermarkets Inc. plans to open seven stores and debut a new wholesale format in Florida by the end of this year.
• Speedway LLC reported it has put 166 former Speedway, SuperAmerica, Hess and Tesoro gas station sites in 22 states up for sale.
Retail
• Arlington Coal & Lumber Co. Inc. announced that it has reached an agreement to purchase Friend Lumber Co. Inc. which has two locations in Burlington, MA, and Hudson, NH.
• CVS Health is launching a new health care benefit called Aetna Virtual Primary Care.
• David’s Bridal has promoted Heather Braddock to the newly created role of VP, Digital Solutions. Additionally, Andrea Dauphinee has been promoted to Senior VP, Human Resources, Heather McReynolds to VP, GMM, Bridal and Dresses, and Rich McGrath to VP, Learning, Development and Field Human Resources.
• Dollar Tree Stores Inc. is hosting an in-person hiring event on August 14 at all of its 26 distribution centers in the USA.
• Jeld-Wen Holding Inc. announced the appointment of Colleen Penhall as VP of Global Corporate Communications.
• Kohl’s Corporation and Sephora USA Inc. announced more than 70 of the first Sephora at Kohl’s locations will open starting August 20. The retailers announced the partnership late last year, and plan to open 200 locations this fall.
• Levi Strauss & Co. announced it has acquired yoga apparel brand Beyond Yoga, adding active-wear to the company’s offerings.
• Party City Holdco Inc. announced it plans to open 80 or 100 seasonal Halloween stores this year.
• Smoker Friendly International LLC has acquired 21 Smoke’ N Go tobacco stores in Louisiana.
• Spahn & Rose Lumber Co. reported that it has completed its purchase of Metro Building Products, based in Marietta, GA.

• Church’s Chicken has hired Claudia Lezcano as VP of Brand Strategy & Activation and Sarah Whiticar as VP of Global Business Intelligence & Product Development.
• Curry Up Now is opening a new location in Dallas, TX.
• Firehouse Subs has opened a new location in Springdale, AR. The new restaurant is also the first one in the state to feature the company’s new community restaurant design.
• IHOP Restaurant is testing the sale of alcoholic beverages including beer, wine, and mimosas.
• JINYA Holdings, Inc. will be opening a new location in Charlotte, NC.
• Marco’s Pizza is planning to add five new franchised restaurants to the Cleveland area by 2025.
• Pizza Guys has opened a new location in Atwater, CA.
• Pizza Hut and Beyond meat are launching a meatless pepperoni pizza.
• Pokeworks has promoted Steve Heely to CEO. Former CEO Mike Wu is stepping down to become the company’s Chief of Culinary.
