• Harbor Wholesale Foods has completed the acquisition of Rich & Rhine Wholesale.
• The Kent Companies has acquired Connell Oil Co. The deal includes six company-operated, Chevron-branded Mr. C’s convenience stores.
• Nouria Energy Corporation has completed the acquisition of 17 VERC Enterprises Inc. convenience stores, including two with adjoining car wash operations.
• Produce Marketing Association and United Fresh Produce Association are merging, with the new association launching January 1, 2022.
• Publix Super Markets Inc. announced Adrian Bennett was named VP of the Jacksonville, FL, division succeeding Scott Brubaker, who is retiring.
• Royal Farms announced it intends to hire 4,500 new employees at its convenience stores before the end of this year.

• American Construction Source announced that it has acquired Foley Lumber & Hardware Co. and Milaca Building Center, which will operate under their existing local brand names.
• Beacon Roofing Supply Inc. announced that it has appointed Christine Stroh Reddy as Exec VP, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary. The company also announced that Binit Sanghvi has been appointed as Head of Investor Relations.
• Builders FirstSource Inc. has appointed Dave Flitman as CEO.
• Dick’s Sporting Goods Inc. will open its new experiential concept store on April 9. The first-ever Dick’s House of Sport will open in Victor, NY, along with Warehouse Sale locations and experiential Soccer Shops in select locations in April.
• Gap Inc. plans to open 20-30 Athleta stores this year.
• Hancock Lumber Co. Inc. reported that it is acquiring Lapointe Lumber Co.
• Crew Group Inc. announced Jose Davila was named Chief People Officer. Danielle Schmelkin was named CIO. Derek Yarbrough was named Chief Marketing Officer. Liz Hershfield was named Senior VP Sustainability, a newly created role.
• Kohl’s Corporation recently opened a new fulfillment center located in Etna, OH. The 1.2 million sq. ft. center is Kohl’s largest fulfillment center and will be dedicated to processing, filling and shipping orders from the e-commerce site.
• Northern Tool & Equipment Co. Inc. reported that it has acquired Jacks Small Engines based in Jarretsville, MD.
• Signet Jewelers Limited has acquired Rocksbox, a jewelry rental subscription platform.

• Blaze Pizza will be opening up 16 new locations in the first quarter of this year. The locations will be spread across Texas, Tennessee, and Florida.
• Chipotle Mexican Grill will announce debt-free college degree opportunities for employees that have worked at the company for at least four months. Related major fields like hospitality, agriculture, and culinary will qualify for the program.

• Fat Brands, Inc will be expanding into France with a franchise deal that will add 40 locations.
