• Amazon.com Inc. has opened an approximately 25,000 sq. ft. Amazon Fresh store in North Hollywood, CA. The retailer plans to open more Amazon Fresh stores in North Whittier, CA, as well as Naperville, Bloomingdale, Oak Lawn, and Schaumburg, IL.
• H-E-B announced Cathy Harm has been named Regional VP for Central Texas.
• KeHE Distributors has opened a new distribution center in Indiana. The 376,512 sq. ft. facility in West Ellettsville will replace the company’s current distribution center in Bloomington.
• Kum & Go LLC announced Kyle J. Krause, Chairman and CEO, will transition out of his role as CEO of the company effective Jan. 1, 2021. He will be succeeded by his son, Kum & Go President Tanner Krause.
• Madison Food Corp. has joined the Wakefern Food Corp. retail cooperative and plans to remodel three stores in Massachusetts to the Price Rite Marketplace banner.
• McLane Company, Inc. has renewed its multiyear service agreement with RaceTrac Petroleum Inc.

• ABC Supply Co. Inc. recently opened a new location in Quincy, MA.
• Amazon.com Inc. is opening eight new customer fulfillment and delivery operations facilities across Nevada.
• Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. has named John Welling as Senior VP, Merchandise Planning, Allocation and Operations.
• BMC Stock Holdings Inc. announced that it has entered into a definitive purchase agreement to acquire T.W. Perry.
• CVS Health has named Neela Montgomery as Exec VP and President of CVS Pharmacy/Retail.
• Deckers Brands has opened a new Ugg store in New York City. The two-level 12,842 sq. ft. store will be Ugg’s largest to date in the U.S.
• Dick’s Sporting Goods Inc. announced that Lauren Hobart will succeed Ed Stack as CEO on Feb. 1.
• Dick’s Sporting Goods Inc. will unveil a new store concept, called Public Lands in the second half of 2021. The new banner will debut with a location in Pittsburgh and in Columbus, OH. Both will take over Field & Stream stores.
• Foot Locker Inc. is opening two new locations for its community-based “power” store format. The company has brought the format to Canada, opening a 15,000 sq. ft. store in Vancouver, BC. A second location is set to open in early December, in Toronto.
• Foot Locker Inc. announced the planned retirement of Lauren B. Peters, Exec VP and CFO, with an expected effective date in April 2021.
• Ford Lumber Co. Inc. announced Fulcrum Building Group, LLC has acquired a majority interest in the company.
• Gap Inc. announced that Asheesh Saksena will join the company as Chief Growth Officer. In addition, Sandra Stangl will join the company as the new President and CEO of Banana Republic.
• The Home Depot Inc. announced that it will open two new distribution centers in Perth Amboy, NJ, over the next 12 months.
• House-Hasson Hardware Co. Inc. announced that Paul Thorman has been named Manager of its warehouses in Knoxville, TN, and Prichard, WV.
• Crew Group Inc. announced that Libby Wadle has been named its CEO.
• Kohl’s Corporation and Sephora USA Inc. announced a long-term partnership in which Sephora will open hundreds of in-store shops inside Kohl’s stores. Around 200 shops will open by next fall and in at least 850 Kohl’s stores by 2023.
• Lululemon Athletica Inc. announced the promotion of Meghan Frank to CFO.
• Macy’s, Inc. announced that Malek Robert Amirshahi has been named Senior VP of Communications.
• Marcus Lumber Co. Inc. announced that it plans to open a new location in Storm Lake, IA.
• Rite Aid Corporation has named Texanna Reeves as its VP of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
• Sally Beauty Holdings, Inc. announced Mary Beth Edwards has been appointed as Senior VP, CIO and Chief Transformation Officer. Aaron Alt, CFO and President, will be leaving the company. Additionally, John Goss has been appointed as Senior VP and President.
• Signet Jewelers Limited plans to open 15 new Piercing Pagoda kiosks by the end of December.
• US LBM Holdings, LLC announced that it has acquired Ridgefield Supply Co.
• Victoria’s Secret Stores announced Martin Waters was named CEO of Lingerie. Laura Miller was named Chief Human Resources Officer, Becky Behringer was promoted to Exec VP Store Operations, and Janie Schaffer was named Chief Design Officer of Lingerie.
• Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc. announced plans to open 40 new VillageMD health care clinics at Walgreens locations by the end of summer 2021.
• Walmart Stores Inc. has named Dr. Cheryl Pegus its Exec VP of Health and Wellness, effective Dec. 21.

• Chipotle Mexican Grill is testing a new smoked brisket menu item in select markets.
• Dairy Queen has opened a new location in Bentonville, AR.
• Farmer Boys Food Inc. has entered the chicken sandwich wars with two new chicken sandwich offerings. The fast casual restaurant is part of a growing list of competitors to debut a chicken sandwich since last year.
• Ledo Pizza in College Park, MD has temporarily closed a location for remodeling and will be reopening it next year.
• Mountain Mike’s Pizza has opened a new location in Richmond, CA.
• NPC International Inc. has canceled the bidding for more than 1,300 franchised Pizza Hut and Wendy’s restaurants. The company originally filed for bankruptcy back in July..
• Pizza Factory Inc. has opened a new franchised location.
• Shake Shack has a new line of burgers that feature a truffle sauce in select New York and California locations.
• The Wendy’s Company is planning to open 250 ghost kitchens and 150 traditional restaurants in India throughout the next decade.
• Uber has completed their purchase of delivery service Postmates for an estimated $2.65 billion.
