• A new $900 billion COVID-19 stimulus deal has been passed by Congress. The package includes $284 billion in PPP loans that will reportedly have fewer loopholes.

• NIKE Inc. plans to open between 150-200 small format stores in North America next year. The store types are part of the brands focus on a smaller footprint following the COVID-19 pandemic.

• Dickey’s Barbecue Pit has opened three new ghost kitchens in Illinois, Florida, and California.

• Punch Bowl Social has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. All remaining locations have been closed indefinitely.
