• AmerisourceBergen Corporation has hired Lonie Haynes as the company’s new Senior VP and Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer.
• Food Lion LLC revealed plans to purchase 62 North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia Bi-Lo and Harveys Supermarket stores from Southeastern Grocers.
• Grocery Outlet Inc. announced that Harrison Lewis has joined the company as CIO. The grocer also announced it plans to open another 7 stores in its fourth quarter.
• GPM Investments LLC unveiled its plans for a new store prototype for remodels and rebuilds. The company anticipates that it will remodel approximately 360 of its sites over the next three to five years.
• Krasdale Foods Inc. announced Gus Lebiak has been named as the new President and COO, succeeding Steve Silver, who is retiring.
• Couche-Tard Inc. acquired Pride C-Stores Inc. and its 7 convenience stores.
• Refuel Operating Company, LLC has entered into an agreement to acquire the assets of Holmes Oil Inc., including the Cruizers c-store chain.
• Stewart’s Shops Corp. will acquire 8 convenience stores, 3 car washes, and the fuel distribution business from Red-Kap Sales Inc.
• Yesway is adding four new CBD beverage brands with 14 new SKUs to its packaged beverage section.

• 84 Lumber Co. has hit a corporate milestone and reached record sales of $4 billion for the first time in company history. The company expects it will reach sales of close to $4.5 billion for the year.
• Amazon.com Inc. is expanding its Key In-Garage delivery service to over 4,000 cities across the U.S. Prime members are now able to have their packages delivered securely inside their garage with a delivery confirmation for customers using the Key by Amazon app.
• Amazon.com Inc. has launched Amazon Pharmacy, a new store on its website that allows customers to complete an entire pharmacy transaction on their desktop or mobile device.
• Ascena Retail Group Inc. announced it will close all its remaining Justice locations by early 2021.
• Bebe Stores Inc. announced the purchase of 47 Buddy’s Home Furnishings rent-to-own franchises.
• Claire’s Stores Inc. announced a new loyalty program in which members can earn points through social engagement. The free, points-based Claire’s Rewards is the first-ever loyalty program to be launched by the retailer.
• CVS Health announced Daniel Finke has been named Exec VP and President Health Care Benefits Segment, effective Feb. 1, 2021.
• Dollar General Corp. announced the opening of its 17,000th store.
• Dollar General Corp. plans to build its first combination dry and DG Fresh distribution center in Blair, NE. The 800,000 sq. ft. distribution center will support more than 1,500 stores in the Midwest. Construction is slated to start in December, with the facility’s completion expected in early 2022.
• Foundation Building Materials LLC has entered into a definitive agreement under which an affiliate of American Securities LLC will acquire all outstanding shares of the company.
• The Home Depot Inc. is buying HD Supply.
• L & W Supply has acquired the assets of Coastal Building Materials.
• Mead Lumber Co. Inc. announced Dave Anderson has been named President and CEO. He succeeds Craig Bradshaw.
• PVH Corp. announced the appointment of Avery Baker as President and Chief Brand Officer of Tommy Hilfiger LLC.
• Smoker Friendly International LLC expanded its commitment to selling the full line of Solari CBD products in all its stores in the United States.
• Tailored Brands, Inc. expects to successfully emerge from Chapter 11 protection by the end of November, after the retailer’s reorganization plan was confirmed.
• US LBM Holdings, LLC has signed a definitive agreement for Bain Capital Private Equity to acquire a majority stake in the company. The transaction is expected to close in December 2020.
• Vitamin Shoppe Industries has debuted two lines of private label CBD products under its Vthrive The Vitamin Shoppe and plnt brands.

• Dine Brands Global, Inc. announced that John Peyton will be their new CEO effective Jan. 4, 2021. Current CEO Steve Joyce previously announced that he will be leaving the company in Feb. 2021.
• Donatos Pizza has hired John King as COO and Matthew Coy as Vice President Information Technology.
• Freddy’s Frozen Custards & Steakburgers has signed a franchise agreement to bring 50 new locations to Florida over the next several years.
• Gloria’s Latin Cuisine has opened a new location in McKinney, TX.
• Jersey Mike’s Subs will be donating 20% of sales on November 21-22 to Feeding America. The company says a minimum of $1 million will be donated.
• MooYah Burgers & Fries has opened a new location in Madison, WI.
• Mountain Mike’s Pizza has opened a new location in Fountain Valley, CA.
• Ono Hawaiian BBQ has opened a new location in Delano, CA.
• Pizza Hut is selling a weighted blanket that is designed to resemble their original pan pizza for the winter season.
• Zaxby’s Franchising Inc. will be receiving an investment from Goldman Sachs who will acquire a significant stake in the company
