• CPD Energy is preparing to debut a new logo and branding for its Chestnut Market locations. The new logo design will affect 55 existing stores in the Northeast and will roll out to dozens of stores over the next two years.
• GPM Investments LLC completed the acquisition of Empire Petroleum Partners’ fuel distribution and retail locations
• KeHE Distributors has signed a distribution pact with National Co+op Grocers, a business services cooperative for retail food co-ops across the United States.
• Kwik Chek Convenience Stores Inc. announced it plans to rebrand all of its locations to Texas Born (TXB).
• Lipari Foods Inc. announced Nick Lenzi has joined the company as VP of Business Development.
• Sysco Corporation announced that Tim Orting will be its new Exec VP and President of International Foodservice Operations.
• QuikTrip Corp. announced Mike Thornbrugh is retiring as Manager of Public and Government Affairs in December.
• United Natural Foods Inc. has signed a 10 year primary grocery wholesale agreement with Key Food Stores Co-Operative Inc.
• Wegmans Food Markets Inc. will open a new store in Tysons, VA, on Nov. 4. An additional nine stores are planned for the Mid-Atlantic region, including Greenville, DE; Rockville, MS; Cary, Chapel Hill, Holly Springs and Wake Forest, NC; Alexandria and Reston, VA; and Washington, DC.

• Dick’s Sporting Goods Inc. will open eleven stores in October, including six namesake locations, two combination Dick’s and Golf Galaxy locations and three Dick’s Sporting Goods Warehouse Sale clearance outlets. In addition, Dick’s will open a limited number of Soccer Shops inside select store locations.
• The Home Depot Inc. named Edward “Ted” P. Decker as President and COO. Ann-Marie Campbell has been named Exec VP of U.S. Stores and International Operations. Jeff Kinnaird has been promoted to Exec VP of Merchandising. Michael Rowe has been promoted to President of The Home Depot Canada.
• The J. Jill Group Inc. has appointed Claire Spofford as CEO, effective February 15.
• Macy’s Inc. has signed a deal with Klarna which allows Macy’s customers to make payments in four equal, interest-free installments at online checkout.
• Rite Aid Corporation has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire The Bartell Drug Company. The store locations will continue to operate under the Bartell Drugs name.
• True Religion Apparel Inc. has received approval for its reorganization plan and expects to keep more than 50 of its store locations open.
• Untuckit is partnering with payments solution platform Sezzle Inc. to introduce a new omnichannel payment option that allows customers to buy now and pay later.

• Papa John’s Pizza has named Ann Gugino as Chief Financial Officer.
• Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers is donating $100,000 to hurricane relief agencies in states that have been devastated by storms this year.
