• Academy Sports & Outdoors has filed a statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for an initial public offering.
• Alpine Lumber Co. plans to open a new location in Silverthorne, CO, in April 2021.
• Amazon.com Inc. announced a partnership with Kohl’s Corporation in which the retailer will allow an Amazon grocery store to occupy space in a Kohl’s store in La Verne, CA.
• American Eagle Outfitters Inc. announced that Jennifer Foyle has been promoted to Chief Creative Officer. The retailer announced plans to close 40 to 50 American Eagle stores this year.
• Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. has named Rick Wilkins as Regional VP for the West Region.
• Costco Wholesale Corp. plans to open new stores in Chaska, MN and Denver, CO.
• Dick’s Sporting Goods Inc. will open one Dick’s Sporting Goods store in TX, one combination of Dick’s and Golf Galaxy location in SC, and one Golf Galaxy store in CO, in September.
• Five Below Inc. plans to remodel approximately 45 stores and add self-checkout capabilities to more than 100 additional existing stores in 2020.
• LaValley-Middleton Building Supply Inc. has opened a new location in Bristol, NH.
• The Neiman Marcus Group has received court approval of its Chapter 11 reorganization plan. The company said it intends to emerge from bankruptcy by Sept. 30.
• Sephora USA Inc. announced Martin Broc as President and CEO.
• Walmart Stores Inc. has launched its flu shot offering, including a new scheduling system and a focus on making the vaccine accessible for employees.
• Wayfair LLC announced Fiona Tan has joined the company as its Director of Customer and Supplier Technology.

• Captain D’s has opened a new franchised location in Oak Grove, KY.
• CEC Entertainment Inc. has received $200M in financing that will allow them to transition through the bankruptcy process.
• Dave’s Hot Chicken has opened a new location in Los Angeles, CA.
• El Pollo Loco has launched a new limited menu that features items inspired by the diverse background of Los Angeles, CA.
• Farmer Boys Food Inc. has opened a new franchised location in Thousand Oaks, CA.
• McDonald’s Corporation is testing out a new reusable cup system for hot beverages. The cups require a small deposit form consumers that is refunded when the consumer returns the cup to a dedicated location for sanitization.
• Panera Bread has named Debbie Roberts Chief Operations Officer.
• Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen Inc. has named Sami Siddiqui President of Popeyes Americas.
• Postmates has become the first official delivery partner of the National Football League.
