• Energy North Group is acquiring eight convenience stores in Maine from Tradewinds Markets.

• Fresh Thyme Farmers Market has made changes to its logo and announced its new company name is Fresh Thyme Market.

• Southeastern Grocers plans to sell 23 stores under its Bi-Lo and Harveys Supermarket banners to grocery wholesaler and retailer Alex Lee and independent operator B&T Foods.

• Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. has appointed Wade E. Haddad as Senior VP, Real Estate and Construction.

• Busy Beaver Building Centers Inc. plans to open its 25th home center store in Delmont, PA, in May 2021.

• Dollar General Corp. is promoting Kathy Reardon to Exec VP and Chief People Officer.

• Foundation Building Materials LLC has acquired Marriott Drywall Materials, Inc.

• L & W Supply has acquired the assets of Drywall Supply Inc.

• Lord & Taylor is officially going out of business. The company announced that all of its remaining stores and website have begun liquidation sales.

• RTW Retailwinds has entered into an asset purchase agreement with Saadia Group LLC to sell its websites.

• Target Corporation has hired Maurice Cooper as its Senior VP Marketing.

• Ulta Salon, Cosmetics & Fragrance, Inc. expects to open 30 stores and relocate five this year. The company said that it expects to open at least 30 new stores next year.

• Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc. has named John Standley as the new President of Walgreens.

• Walmart Stores Inc. has rolled out Walmart+, a membership program combining in-store and online benefits that offer delivery as quickly as the same day.

• Walmart Stores Inc. has opened its fifth Walmart Health location in Newnan, GA. The format will open in Jacksonville, FL, in 2021, with additional locations to be announced. The retailer also said three supercenters in Arlington, Benbrook and Carrollton, TX, will welcome in-store Oak Street Health clinics this fall.

• Curry Up Now has entered the chicken sandwich wars by launching their Tandoori fried chicken sandwich nationwide.

• Del Taco has partnered with Beyond Meat and DoorDash to offer their plant based burritos for delivery.

• FOCUS Brands Inc. has promoted Kristen Hartman to President, Specialty Brands and Erik Hess has been appointed President, Restaurant Brands. Both positions were newly created for their respective appointees.

• Papa John’s International Inc. has a new pineapple supplier through their partnership with Dole Packaged Foods, LLC.
