• 7-Eleven Inc. plans to open Laredo Taco Co. restaurants inside more than 10 convenience stores in the Oklahoma City metro area. All of the planned sites are expected to open by early 2021.
• Marathon Petroleum Corporation has entered into a definitive agreement to sell its Speedway convenience-store chain to 7-Eleven Inc. The transaction, which includes a 15-year fuel supply agreement, is expected to close in the first quarter of 2021.
• McLane Company, Inc. announced Grady Rosier, President and CEO, will retire by the end of this month. He will be succeeded by Tony Frankenberger, who will maintain his responsibilities as President of McLane Grocery.
• Publix Super Markets Inc. will close its GreenWise Market locations in South Carolina. The stores in Lexington and Mount Pleasant will close on Aug. 29.
• Sobeys Inc. plans to open 12 more Farm Boy fresh market stores by the end of next year, including three conversions of Sobeys supermarkets in Ontario.
• Stater Bros. Holdings Inc. has promoted Bertha Luna to the position of Regional VP Retail Operations and Paul Stoffel to the role of VP Marketing.
• United Pacific has acquired 95 convenience stores and gas stations from Platinum Energy.

• Apple Inc. announced that its Chief Marketing Officer, Phil Schiller, would step down and be replaced by Greg Joswiak.
• Big Lots Stores Inc. is expanding its same-day delivery program to include its full assortment of merchandise.
• Do it Best Corp. announced Christopher Heffley as a Senior Software Developer, Kiana Lopez as a Web Designer, and Stephanie Lyons as an Electrical Merchandise Manager.
• The Home Depot will open three new distribution centers in Georgia over the next 18 months to support a growing demand for flexible delivery and pick-up options.
• Rite Aid Corporation has named Paul Gilbert as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary.
• US LBM Holdings, LLC acquired Maner Builders Supply Co. which operates locations in Augusta, GA, and Aiken and Charleston, SC.
• Walmart Stores Inc. announced the departure of Sean Slovenski, Senior VP Health, and Wellness.

• Bloomin’ Brands Inc. has promoted Sheilina Henry to the newly created role of Group VP, Diversity and Inclusion.
• Bojangles Restaurants Inc. has altered its branding to remove the apostrophe at the end of the company’s name.
• Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc. has launched a new clothing line called Chipotle Goods. The items will range from baby clothes, adult clothes, water bottles, and cell phone cases. Some of the clothes are being made with dye created from recycled avocado pits and the company plans to make donations to support sustainable fashion.
• Domino’s Pizza Inc announced that Stu Levy has been promoted to CFO. Cindy Headen has also been promoted to fill Levy’s former role of Executive VP, Supply Chain.
• Firehouse Restaurant Group Inc. has opened a new franchised location in Waukesha, WI.
• FOCUS Brands Inc. has appointed Dawn Ray to the newly created position of Senior VP, Corporate Communications.
• JINYA Holdings, Inc. is opening a new restaurant in Denver, CO. This will be the first of nine restaurants to open across Colorado over the next five years.
• Slim Chickens has opened a new location in Tulsa, OK.
• Toojays Original Gourmet Deli is offering free kid’s meals with a participating purchase to celebrate the return of the school year.
