• Amazon.com Inc. will open an 855,000 sq. ft. fulfillment center in Mt. Juliet, TN, in late 2021.
• Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. has named Lynda Markoe as Exec VP, Chief People & Culture Officer.
• BJ’s Wholesale Club Inc. announced that it has appointed Monica Schwartz as Senior VP, Chief Digital Officer.
• Destination XL Group Inc. announced the promotion of Ujjwal Dhoot to Chief Marketing Officer.
• Family Farm & Home Inc. will partner with RELEX Solutions, a provider of unified retail optimization solutions, to integrate and automate their supply chain.

• Menard Inc. plans to open new locations in Elizabethtown, Louisville, and Paducah, KY. Plans for a new location in Bowling Green, OH, have been put on hold.
• Nike Inc. announced Kellie Leonard, Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer, has stepped down. Felicia Mayo will lead a newly formed team as Chief Talent, Diversity and Culture Officer.
• Spahn & Rose Lumber Co. has named Mike Erickson as its new Regional Sales Director.
• Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc. announced that Stefano Pessina will be stepping down as CEO and will assume the role of Executive Chairman.
• Walmart Stores Inc. announced that it will open at least six Walmart Health centers in the greater Atlanta area by the end of 2020. The retailer also intends to open two of the facilities in the Chicago area.

• Bad Daddy’s International is launching a new Beyond Meat plant based burger at all locations.
• Buffalo Wild Wings is launching a new limited time menu to celebrate wing month. The company saw a significant sales boost during the promotion in 2019 and is hoping to achieve the same result.
• Dickey’s Barbecue Pit has partnered with grocery chain Homeland to bring three versions of their barbecue beans to all Homeland locations.
• Juice It Up has promoted Susan Taylor to President and CEO. Former CEO Chris Braun will still remain with the company as an owner.
• MOD Pizza has reacquired 13 franchised locations located in North Carolina.
• MOOYAH Franchise LLC is opening a new franchised location in Upland, CA.
• Sonic Corp. has unveiled a new restaurant design they are calling Delight. Tahlequah, OK, is the site of the first redesigned restaurant that features 18 docks, lawn games, and a new color scheme meant to evoke summertime.
