In the fast-paced food industry, restaurants can be here one day and gone the next, but sometimes an organization is so great they withstand the tests of time. This year, 2019, the National Restaurant Association (NRA) is celebrating their 100th birthday, an impressive milestone that not many companies can accomplish. The NRA is well known for being the largest restaurant trade show in the nation and anyone and everyone in the industry is going to be in Chicago this May. Chain Store Guide will be on location with up-to-date data, posting live updates to our Twitter account.
In addition to great exhibits and demonstrations, this year’s guest speakers will be a must see. CEO of Hy-Vee, Inc, Randy Edeker; CEO of Wawa Chris Gheysens; and founder & CEO of Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants Tim McEnery, will be giving a conversational presentation on the future of dining. These are three of the top executives from well known and respected companies across the US who will be in attendance. CSG offers an extensive database of the nation’s “Who’s Who” of restaurants, making sure that any company exhibiting at the NRA’s centennial celebration trade show will be well prepared to market and highlight their company.
Reaching that 100th year mark is an incredible milestone. Looking farther into CSG’s database we’ve come across a list of restaurants also celebrating notable anniversaries. To honor these companies CSG will be publishing a series of articles leading up to the NRA show to highlight 25th, 50th, 75th and 100th birthdays. Look for our “Milestones” series in the upcoming weeks.
