Personnel Updates

• Cousins Sub Systems Inc. (14) has promoted CFO Jason Westhoff to President. In addition, J.J. Grube has been promoted to VP Finance.

• Alexander’s Holdings LLC (13) announced it is promoting CFO Mark Parkey to CEO and President, succeeding Lonnie J. Stout II. Jessica Hagler was promoted to CFO.

• Wingstop Restaurants Inc. (93) has named Maurice Cooper to the new position of Chief Growth and Experience Officer, while also continuing his duties as Chief Marketing Officer. The company also named Kevin Fish to Senior VP Digital.

• Women’s Foodservice Forum (3) announced that Hattie Hill, CEO and president, will be retiring. She will continue to serve until a successor is hired.

• Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group Inc. over the past year has closed and sold off a number of restaurants and plans no new openings in the next two years.

• Papa John’s International Inc. has partnered with DoorDash to expand third-party delivery to 1,400 restaurants nationwide.

• Starbucks Corporation will test recyclable and compostable cups over the next year at locations in New York, San Francisco, Seattle, London, and Vancouver, British Columbia.

 

Technology

• Jack in the Box Inc. is releasing it’s first-ever customer mobile app. Users will have one-tap functionality to place orders in advance and pay using their mobile phones.
