The value-priced home goods retailer At Home Group has delivered on its goal to open 30 net new locations in its current fiscal year – with a quarter to spare before they close the books on Fiscal 2019 at the end of February. With 10 new stores under construction, Chain Store Guide projects the company to increase its net store count by at least 25 in the next 12 months.

With same store sales growth in 19 consecutive quarters and net sales growth in 18, the company reiterated its long-term plan to create a portfolio of 600 US stores.

The company expanded its east coast presence in the last 12 months by opening its first stores in Connecticut, Maryland and New Jersey. In calendar 2019, At Home shifts its attention west with expansion into California and Washington. In all, according to CSG data, the company has doubled its footprint in 3 years.
