Personnel Updates
• Huttig (16) welcomed back former CFO Philip Keipp as Senior Financial Consultant.
• Lowe’s (92) hired Joe McFarland as Exec VP of Stores. McFarland has previously worked with Lowe’s CEO Marvin Ellison at Home Depot and JCPenney.
• Lowe’s (92) hired Donald Frieson away from Sam’s Club. Frieson is the new Exec VP of Supply Chain.
• PPG (32) promoted Anne Foulkes to Senior VP, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary and William Schaupp to VP and Controller.
• PrimeSource Building Products (12) made a number of executive-level hires including Chris Peetz as Exec VP of Operations, Todd Huston as Exec VP of Product Development and Tim Michel as CIO. Scott Smith was promoted to Chief Commercial Officer.
• Tractor Supply (33) promoted Steve Barbarick to President and COO and Rob Mills to Exec VP, Chief Technology, Digital Commerce and Strategy Officer.

• Home Depot is now carrying Bosch appliances.
• Lumber Liquidators is relocating its headquarters to Richmond, VA from Toano, VA. The company is also selling its products-finishing business and equipment.
Mergers and Acquisitions
• ABC Supply acquired roofing distributor Alliance Wholesales Supply (Johnstown, PA) and Landis Supply (Vineland, NJ).
• Detering Co. of Houston acquired Weatherford Door & Window Co. (Bryan, TX).
• Foundation Building Materials acquired Ciesco, a distributor of drywall, ceiling products and insulation with six locations in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region.
• L&W Supply acquired Rose & Walker Supply (Columbus, IN) and its five locations.
• US Lumber Group plans to acquire Alexandria Moulding (Alexandria, ON).
Real Estate
• Blain’s Farm & Fleet will open its 4th Michigan store in Holland Township next year.
• Builders FirstSource opened a location in Albany, NY.
• Busy Beaver will open a new store in New Caslte, PA in September.
• Lowe’s opened a store in Overland Park, KS on a site last occupied by Kmart.
• Westlake Ace Hardware will open a store in Bonner Springs, KS this fall.
• WW Building Supply plans to replace its Newfane, VT location with a new 17,000+ sq. ft. facility.
