Personnel Updates

• ABC Supply (37) promoted VP of Operations Mike Jost to COO.

• Ace Hardware (52) named Kim Lefko Senior VP and Chief Marketing Officer.

• C-A-L Ranch Stores (8) shuffled the c-suite offices. CFO Tom Yearsley became the new CEO, while the company named Brock Leonardson to replace Yearsley in his previous position. Former CEO Jerry Ward continues in his roles as President and Chairman. In another move, Mandi Dyer was named as the new General Merchandise Manager.

• Do it Best Corp. (165) promoted Steve Rose to National Manager, Logistics.

• Lowe’s (99) new CEO Marvin Ellison shook things up one week into his tenure, as we covered here.

 • McCoy’s Building Supply (43) named Bane Phillippi VP and General Counsel.

• The Home Depot plans on adding lockers for online order pickups in its stores.

Mergers and Acquisitions

• ABC Supply acquired G & F Roof Supply of Anaheim, CA.

• Beacon Roofing Supply has acquired Atlas Supply, Inc. (Seattle, WA).

• Hammond Lumber (ME) is acquiring EBS Building Supplies. The new Hammond Lumber will have a total of 21 locations.

• Kodiak Building Partners acquired Forest Tek Lumber and Overseas Lumber Supply in the Florida Keys.

Real Estate

• Ace plans to expand its distribution center in West Jefferson, OH.
