• Metro Inc. announced a deal to acquire the Jean Coutu Group. The deal includes more than 400 Canadian drug stores and a distribution center.
• Walgreens Boots Alliance has obtained approval to acquire 1,932 Rite Aid stores. Store changes are expected be completed by spring 2018.
