• Meek’s The Builders Choice promoted Charlie Meeks to CEO. Carrie Meeks transitions from President of the West Coast Division to Chairman of the Board. Matt Blair takes over out West in Carrie’s place.

Mergers and Acquisitions

• Beacon Roofing Supply is set to acquire Allied Building Products Corp. for $2.625 billion in a deal scheduled to close in early January.

• U.S. Lumber Group agreed to acquire NILCO (Hartville, OH) and its 12 locations in a move that will bolster US Lumber’s presence in the Midwest.

• BMC Stock Holdings will open a new 187,000 sq. ft. manufacturing and warehouse facility this fall in Woodland, CA.

• Drexel Building Supply will open its seventh location in Columbus, Wisconsin in early 2018.
