Buffalo Wild Wings has selected the NCR Aloha Online Ordering solution for its 1,000 company-owned and franchised locations to help drive its takeout ordering business. Adding online ordering functionality to its existing NCR technology solution will enable Buffalo Wild Wings to manage both on- and off-premise transactions seamlessly within one system.
Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop has used Punchh to create a customized mobile loyalty rewards program for. Called “CAPAddicts Rewards,” customers can use the new program’s branded mobile app to earn rewards based on how frequently they visit and how much they spend. The app will be introduced nationwide in Q3 2014.
Domino’s Pizza is now accepting payments via Google Wallet. In addition, the company has launched a new iPad ordering application.
Fogo de Chão has successfully implemented NCR Aloha point-of-sale software at its 32 restaurants around the world. The full-service, fine-dining restaurant already uses NCR Aloha in its 23 U.S. locations. Fogo de Chão selected NCR because of the sales and administrative functions it offers the international restaurant chain.
Ovation Brands has selected MICROS Simphony and MICROS iCare Gift and Loyalty solution for all of its 337 locations. The solution will assist in the company’s mobile strategy for future table-side ordering and line management.

Duane Reade (owned by Walgreens) has released its first update to its iPhone app, including the integration of iBeacon for 10 select DR locations.
Supermarket & Convenience:
A & P has selected Agilence’s cloud-based reporting solutions to enhance its chain-wide effort to reduce shrink and fraud.
Buc-ee’s, a convenience store chain, is now using complete software, hardware and services solution from NCR. The solution will assist to streamline operations as well as increase speed and reliability at the point-of-sale.
NCR Corp. will be piloting a new, high-speed retail checkout system with Tesco stores in Lincoln, U.K. The system uses imaging technology from Datalogic.
TravelCenters of America LLC, is now offering Courtesy WiFi in the restaurant dining rooms of 39 TA and Petro locations. Courtesy WiFi is intended for light internet traffic and web use during a two-hour time period.
