Founded in 1890, Bartell Drugs is the nation’s oldest pharmacy chain. The company announced in February plans to will build its 59th store in Downtown Seattle. Located at 551 Boren in Amazon Block 32, the 10,400-square-foot location will feature Bartells own unique interior concept and include a large “Urban Market” section, a full service pharmacy and over-the-counter products, “Sweets & Snacks,” a “Creative Print Studio” with Kodak Kiosks, its “Beauty” cosmetics section, vitamins and an expanded selection of pet supplies.
