Winmark Corporation, which franchises resale concepts such as Play It Again Sports, is about to roll out a new concept that will resell women’s apparel and accessories. Winmark, which did over $50 million in sales last year, is also the parent company for Once Upon A Child, Plato’s Closet and Music Go Round.

The new concept, which has yet to be named, will open with a corporate-owned store around June 1 of this year.  Although a location has not been selected yet, the company says it will be located in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis and St Paul, MN area). The new concept should be similar to Plato’s Closet, which sells used apparel to teen girls and women into their late 20s. The new concept will offer fashions that appeal to women in their late 20s to their late 50s.
