McDonald’s is testing a new custom made TV program called the M Channel in 700 company restaurants. The goal of the channel is to engage customers by offering exclusive content related to news, sports, entertainment, and offer highly localized reporting at various times of the day to engage different audiences. The M Channel could expand to 14,000 locations nationwide within 18 months if the test is proven to be successful.
