Tween Brands, which operates Justice Just for Girls stores, has more than two decades of experience selling clothing and accessories to young girls. With a timely and much planned release the company began adding boys products, branded as Brothers, in 2010. The brand was released first as an online-only test and then earlier last year onto store shelves.
The chain with 920 stores, and counting, is now owned by Suffern, NY based Ascena Retail Group. Tween Brands recently announced its plans to expand its in-store testing of boys’ apparel. The brands website currently lists 10 locations with the trade name and 9 more locations as coming soon. The company said it will add Brothers at 20 more stores before the holiday season.
