Pep Boys has expanded the use of Kronos’ workforce-management suite to include forecasting and planning.
Walmart is expanding self-checkout this year by adding lanes in the 1,600 Walmart stores that currently use the technology and introducing it in 220 more Sam’s Club stores. Currently, around 80 of the 600-plus Sam’s Club locations offer self-checkout. 


Rite Aid has launched a smartphone application. 


Saks has selected Oracle Retail and E-Business Suite applications to integrate business operations across channels and improve margins and profitability.  
Foodservice Industries

H-E-B Mexico has completed its implementation of JDA Portfolio Merchandise Management.

Pinkberry has partnered with MICROS Systems, Inc. to implement Google Wallet. Pinkberry customers can tap smart devices on a Near Field Communications reader to quickly make purchases and simultaneously redeem coupons and receive discounts. Google Wallet is now live in 69 Pinkberry locations in the United States.
Ruby Tuesday has implemented the MICROS Table Management System (TMS) across 750+ locations. TMS is a fully-integrated component of the MICROS Restaurant EnterpriseSolution (RES) point-of-sale software solution.
Silver Diner has selected DTT as it’s Surveillance Solution Provider.
