All market share leaders maintain their top spots for the third year in a row since CSG has been reporting these rankings. IBM and MICROS continue to lead the POS Hardware category for Retail and Foodservice respectively while EPSON continues to dominate the POS Printer category.  EPSON’s next closest competitor is IBM which holds a 4% share in the foodservice industry and a 24% share in the retail industry.

In the POS Software category, Verifone holds the top spot in retail, trailed closely by IBM which is only 2% behind. Radiant Systems has the top spot in the foodservice segment with MICROS Systems trailing by 5%.
