Plum Creek Timber Co. reported revenues of $1.167 billion for fiscal 2011, a 2.5% decrease over $1.19 billion in 2010.
Tractor Supply Company announced financial results for its fiscal year ended December 31, 2011. Net sales increased 16.3% to $4.23 billion from $3.64 billion in fiscal 2010.
Weyerhaeuser reported net sales from continuing operations of $6.2 billion for the full year 2011.

City Mill Co. plans to open a new store in
Lowe’s has stated it is slowing down its rate of new store openings and canceling some projects that were in the pipeline. Instead of a new store-opening rate of about 30 per year, Lowe’s expects to open 10 to 15 new stores per year in North America starting in 2012.
