Personnel Update:

ABC Supplyhas promoted David Johnson to the position of Director National Accounts.
ProBuild Holdings has announced the appointment of Robert Marchbank as its new CEO.  Fred Marino, who had filled the role of interim CEO for the past several months, will continue to serve as vice chairman of the company’s board of directors.
Rona has appointed Dave Carr to the position of VP Retail, Western Canada, and François Hardy to the position of VP Dealer-Owner Network Development.
The Wolf Organization, parent of WOLF formerly called Wolf Distributing Co., announced a executive restructuring.  Brad Kostelich will assume the position of President of WOLF.  Mike Sessinger will serve as Exec VP Sales. Rick Post, Bob Lett, Joe Facini and Mark Simmers will serve as regional VPs in WOLF’s Northeast, Mid-Atlantic Building Products, Mid-Atlantic Kitchen and Bath and Southeast business units, respectively.  Patty Cobaugh, who will assume the title of Exec VP.
W.T. Harvey Lumber Co. announced that CEO Wilfred “Bubber” Gross Jr., passed away from cancer.
Financial Focus:

Plum Creek Timber Co. reported revenues of $1.167 billion for fiscal 2011, a 2.5% decrease over $1.19 billion in 2010.
Tractor Supply Company announced financial results for its fiscal year ended December 31, 2011.  Net sales increased 16.3% to $4.23 billion from $3.64 billion in fiscal 2010.
Weyerhaeuser reported net sales from continuing operations of $6.2 billion for the full year 2011.
Industry Insight:

City Mill Co
. plans to open a new store in Oahu, Hawaii.
Lowe’s has stated it is slowing down its rate of new store openings and canceling some projects that were in the pipeline. Instead of a new store-opening rate of about 30 per year, Lowe’s expects to open 10 to 15 new stores per year in North America starting in 2012.
